Camelback & Stax

This morning we went for a hike up Camelback, it is 45 minutes of a good hike to the helicopter pad...where we turned around, as it gets a little to rock climbing status rather then hiking ;-))

After we got down Camelback we went to Stax - an amazing burger joint in Scottsdale.  They serve their burgers in 3 different sizes 30z, 6oz, and 9oz - that way you can sample a variety.  Ted got the lamb and Ahi and I got the turkey and kobe ....all were so tasty!!!

Suns VS Lakers

After Giuseppe's we headed to the basketball game, Suns VS Lakers.   Great game, just to bad that Kobe Bryant was not playing...although he was there.   It was very entertaining and Steve Nash played a great game...and even got stitched up on the court after a hit to the face.  They had a neat trampoline show half way thru featuring www.flippenout.com, they were amazing!!   Awesome Night!!!

Giuseppe's DDD visit!

Dinner at Giuseppe's  Ted and I love watching DDD with Guy, so we wanted to go check out on of the restaurants he visited in AZ!   We chose Giuseppe's....Great Italian!   The owner came out and personally welcomed us.  If you are in AZ check it out!

Beauty!

Maybe It is just me...or life...or the time of year it is back home,...or as Ted's says "home" ;-))  but everything is sunny and smells fresh and beautiful!   These flowers grow everywhere and I think they are so neat....I took these photos on its bush and then picked it and floated it in the pool.  I love them all!

Shopping, Shopping & more Shopping...

Yesterday, Ted and I went shopping!!!  Hours of shopping, and lots of success.  We rarely but new clothes and we don't shop together when we do, so we had such a great time!!

Ted's Purchases':

4 pairs of jeans
3 pairs of shorts
3 bottles of cologne
3 shirts
1 pair of shoes

Heather's purchases':

2 dresses
3 pairs of pants
1 bikini
1 bottle of perfume
4 shirts
1 skirt
2 light sweaters
1 pair of shoes


We had a blast then we went to Charlestens for dinner and then home where I enjoyed a glass of Kim Crawford, while Ted went for a quick rip on his bike!!   Here are pictures of all of our shopping treasures!

Really what more could a girl ask for besides, love, sun, Kim Crawford and new shoes ;-))

Arizona Oranges

This tree is my pride and joy....I love it!   There is nothing like a fresh orange in the morning.  You haven't tasted an orange until you pick it off the tree and peel in the sun, and let the juice drip down your arms.  So tasty!!  

This morning for breakfast I cut up fresh oranges and added to plain greek yogurt - it was so sweet and amazing.
