My 1st Jam

Today I made Apricot Jam!   My very 1st attempt and it is so tasty!!   Our neighbour picked all of our no-pestiside apricots while we were away - Thank you!!  The tree was dripping with ripe fruit and she new it would not last, so as a thank you to Karen, I thought I should make Jam that Brian and her could enjoy.  SO ...I made pectin free, 1/2 sugar (plus it was organic natural cane sugar),  and extra lemon, apricot jam ;-)))

Count on me not to follow any sort of recipe.....but oh is it Good!!!
Thank you to Ted for taking a few pics of me making it!!

I also got all my mason rentals washed, sterilized and put away, plus a wedding edit...Ya me!!

This is a working kitchen ;-))

All Rippels!!

Last night we had Ted, Patty, Kyle and Connor up from Abbotsford, we also had Dallas and Tracy up. We had a pool party and then dinner and drinks.   ...  Then we realized that we were all Rippels, so had to take a photo, we had an amazing time!!

Sleepover!

The boys came for a sleepover.  We had such a great time!  Lots of swimming, dinner, pirate map making ;-))   The next morning after morning cuddles <3 <3 <3 we devoured sausage and eggs - at Kash & Ty's request.   Kash, Ty & I headed to the toy store, then played soccer, then went to the park, where Kash climbed to the tallest structure at the park....just to scare Yanna ( FYI...that stands for young Nanna ;-))  I'm sure !!   Then we went to explore the Eco Centre where we read and explored a lot about different animals and then the boys created some amazing puppet shows for me. To top off our day we headed for lunch at the Spaghetti Factory!!

 "Papa I'll follow you"

Making treasure maps in the park ;-)

Off to sleep....finally so Papa and Yanna can have a glass of champagne on the deck !

Kash is very much Papa's boy!

Ty is Yanna's!!

The next set of photos are from the i-phone - so not as clear...but still an amazing memory!
