A foggy North Shore Morning!

Spring break has begun!   We left straight after school and headed for North Vancouver, winding through the tired roads of The Okanagan connector, stopping briefly in Merritt, then tackling the Coquihalla.

With our end destination being Tofino, it was way too much to make in one day, after a full day of school and a long day of wrapping up a weeks worth of work in advance.   We arrived at our hotel The Pinnacle Pier  ~ a beautiful hotel with amazing views...and yes they do take dogs (of any size), at 8pm.   We headed straight down to the classy lounge, tired and scrubby from our day, for dinner, which was unfortunately rushed, as we were all exhausted!!   We went to sleep with the city lights across the bay still showing life ready for the party, laughter and music rocked us to sleep, while sirens whined until wee hours, reminding us why we would never live in the city ;-).

We woke up very early, as Bentley had morning kisses for us all.......after Paige woke him up for a 5:50am cuddle! ;-))  The girls and I then ventured out for an early morning walk, under the drizzling rain and clouds that snaked among the high rises on the city shoreline.  We toured the old boat docks in front of our hotel, waiting for the rest of the city to wake on this cloudy, foggy, wet, Vancouver morning.

Here are a few pictures of our morning.

 Old Pier truck!

Love the loading docks in the distance.

Two sisters enjoying and sharing another amazing day!

My fav of the morning...so innocent, Taeya helping Paige to look thru the scope.

Have you ever looked closely at the bow of a tug....we did, rolled old tires!!!
