A girly full packed weekend!!...we did this all in 22 hours ;-)!!!

With Ted away in AZ, we decided to have an all girl weekend....except of course Bentley ;-))  After a very soggy 4 hours in the bone chilling rain at baseball and soccer, we awaited Elizabeth & Megan's arrival, for 22 hours of a very packed adventure.....here it is!!

First up dinner!  Cheeseburgers & Fries!

Megan was the decorator....she did such an amazing job

Paige, of course, was our bartender & head server....she made ice tea, lemonade and a V caesar!

Megan displaying her final table design...what a natural !

The dinner presentation....don't worry about all the white food!!  I served a few veggies too ;-))

Server Extraordinaire

Bentley.....If I have to be here with all of these girls, screaming and giggling... can someone please chuck me over a burger...these stuffies are getting kinda tasteless.... ;-)

After dinner, it was craft time!!  Painting, stamps, sparkles....clean house - gone ;-))

Ice cream and mini egg dessert to follow...then down to the media room to watch a movie and learn cups ( they sound really good - but were not ready to be video taped) So.....I poured a glass of wine and cleaned up ;-))

After a 12:30 - 1am bedtime the girls slept in until 7am ;-))  Then we had Cheerios - before heading out on our days adventure!!

First up we planted colourful Cosmo seeds and White Gypsophila - (a beautiful type of baby's breath).....I can't wait until (keeping my fingers crossed the birds don't eat them all)....they are in full bloom and we can do cousin photos in them!  Won't that be gorgeous a field full of wild flowers, filled with four gorgeous girls!

Off to hike Kelowna Mountain!

Our first break was at the lower pond....after a straight uphill 30 minute hike!  They all did so great....and wanted to carry on!

Sitting along the edge of the lower pond and boardwalk.

The longest suspension bridge in NA...resides at Kelowna Mountain....we did it!, plus 3 more.

After the first suspension bridge, there is this gorgeous lookout, break #2, and what a stunning backdrop.

 Ya we did!!

Below is the pond, that the girls were sitting around at our first break...that gives you an idea of how much higher, the third suspension bridge and break #3 was.

Break #3 - The dinner cave!  How impressive is this???  This huge chandelier would light up any dinner party, candelabras are drilled into the cave walls....and a social table is set in front of the most amazing fire pit ever.....you can't see in the photos...but go check it out!

This is the future home to one of the most impressive amphitheatres ever!!!

The girls sang and danced "on stage"

Ok....so I was so excited to get going, I forgot water bottles...oops!   We were so thirsty and seeing as we were at the very top of the mountain, the spring runoff was just what we needed to quench our thirst!   I was a little timid...and did not let them drink to much....but OMGoodness you have not tasted such amazing water...and touch wood...a whole day later and we are all feeling great!   I'm going to hike up tomorrow and bottle some to test - cause it was amazing!!

Before we began our descent....we had one last look at what an amazing city we live in!!

After 110 minutes of hiking....we were thirsty and famished.   We stopped at 7-11 for waters before heading to Earls for lunch and to continue enjoying our amazing view.

After a much needed, very tasty lunch, we headed to Moo-Lix for dessert...the best ice cream, and had a quick play on the Ogo Pogo!!

Paige on the "red carpet runway at the Oscars..."

Off to the Kelowna Art Gallery for some art fun!   Our activity was to go into the gallery and pick our favourite piece of art....draw our interpretation and then transfer it and embellish with pastels on to a piece of plexiglass, before running it thru the print press!!

This picture of Megan is my absolute Fav of the day!!!  How cute that the canvas and her shirt match...they also didn't know I was taking these photos !

and that is where our sleepover commenced ;-))  Lots of fun, laughter and a ton of cousin LOVE!!
